Leela Yoga focusses on the ideology of working towards calming the inner turmoil of a human thought process. The instructors believe that age should not be a bar when it comes to performing Yoga. We started our journey in 2019 and want to share our love of Yoga with people by organizing various workshops in and around Delhi and Gurugram.

What is Yoga?

The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Yog’ which means uniting yourself with nature. It encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual practices and is initiated through various asanas.

Why practice Yoga?

Yoga unites the mind, body and soul in a way that eases tension, reduces inflammation, and promotes health and well being. Regular practice will correct postures & positioning, improve your breathing and help in developing a positive outlook towards life!

Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body.

YOGA AS A THERAPY

With the help of postures and breathing techniques, Yoga facilitates healing from physical as well as mental conditions. Although Yoga is majorly associated with physical relaxation and exercise, it also helps you improve your overall health. It acts as a therapy because it not only treats existing physical and mental health issues, but also enables you to prevent any disease.

I gave the class to the corporate office today. I discussed what Yoga and stress are, and gave a few pointers on how to tolerate difficult circumstances. Then, I gave them the class of easy Yoga movements, breathing practices, and ended with basic A, U and M chanting. Ten employees attended, including the Director participated in the Yoga class. Thank you for the lovely Surya Namaskar class today. I don't have a clue about the instructor's name, yet the class experience was beyond something, that cannot be explained in words. By Yoga,my shoulders, neck were opened and rigidness in my upper level was gone. On a psychological level, it calmed me down,and decreased my uneasiness levels. I felt a superior level connection with the universe. It was exceptionally joyful, and I felt better prepared to face difficulties that I may experience. I have likewise been amazingly kind and patient with my family today, which has been useful for them and me. I, intend to keep on practicing Yoga daily and would like to learn more asana of Yoga.

After learning about my pregnancy, I made a baby step by enrolling for Yoga classes. To everyone's surprise, now I have more strength, was active all day long, and was a very calm person. The deep breathing techniques and various techniques of stamina building was the reason for all this along with other Yoga asanas. I want all mothers should practice Yoga and carry an upbeat and delightful kid to this beautiful world! As they say...."let's not bring up our kids to be hard to confront an intense world; rather, how about we raise a delightful kid to make this an increasingly lovely world"
